Farmhouse
Joseph Lee built the original farmhouse in 1801. The farm families who
lived there and tilled the soil on the banks of the Connecticut River made
several additions over the years.
The Farmhouse underwent a top-to-bottom renovation completed in July of 1998,
thanks to the generous help and encouragement of the Kendal Residents.
The Farmhouse has four
guest rooms for residents and visitors to use. Each room
has double occupancy but also can accommodate a cot for additional
occupants and its own private bathroom.
Guests can enjoy watching TV, reading
a book, or just relaxing in the common Living Room. Guests
can also enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and cocoa in our efficiency
kitchen. Appliances include refrigerator, microwave, stovetop
and coffee maker. Dishes are also available for guest use.
Guests have access to all dining rooms in the Cadbury Community
Center and have two meals a day included in their lodging fees.
