Kendal Supports Two Great Causes...

Kendal at Hanover is pleased to announce that we have recently provided corporate sponsorship for two local events:  The Prouty Bike Ride and Challenge Walk and The Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk. 

*This year marked the 28th anniversary of the Prouty, held on July 11th.  This event is the signature event of the Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth Hitchcock and has already raised over $8 million dollars for cancer research and treatment. 

Kendal staff & residents raised over $12,000 in donations!!!

*The annual Alzheimer’s Memory Walk took place, in the Upper Valley, on September 12th. Last year, over 500 individuals participated in the Memory Walk and raised over $140,000 for education and support programs for families with Alzheimer’s disease.

After careful consideration, it was felt that these two events tied in closely with our Mission and Values of providing quality health care and supporting seniors.  For the first time, Kendal built combined staff and resident teams to represent our community and support these great causes.
