A Culture of Giving

In Kendal at Hanover's history, residents have established a tradition of generous support for our community.  They have helped to make possible many of the achievements, big and small, that make the community what it is today.  Our modernized Health Center, the Cadbury Fund, for resident financial assistance, the Farmhouse, concerts in the Gathering Room, the perimeter walkway, are just a few of the positive outcomes of the generosity of those who live here. 

Why Does Kendal at Hanover Need Gifts and Bequests?

Continuing care retirement communities (CCRC's) have four sources of income: resident fees, payments for services like child care, investment earnings, and gifts.  Each is important to the community, for the long-term quality of life of its residents. 

What Is Attractive To Us, As Residents, About Contributing Gifts to Kendal at Hanover?

Charitable giving to Kendal offers us the satisfaction of helping our community to be stronger, financially, more affordable, and responsive to residents who need fee assistance.  Add to that the fact that all gifts to Kendal at Hanover, whether restricted or unrestricted, are tax-deductible since Kendal is a 501 (c) (3) organization, under IRS regulations.
