Direct Admission to Assisted Living
On occassion, residents of the wider community, who need additional care in the areas of general Assisted Living (Barclay) and dementia-related care (Whittier), can apply for direct admission to our community. Kendal at Hanover offers professional services, with direct access to an on-site DHMC clinic, and attractive accommodations.
- Apartments offered in two different floor plans; Studio & One bedroom.
- Assitance provided by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Licensed Nursing Assistants
- All meals, including special diets
- Medication assistance and management
- Social and recreational programs
- Use of the community center amenities including swimming pool, library, dining rooms, hair salon, etc.
- Assistance with activities of daily living
- Scheduled transportation for shopping, events, and appointments
- Wellness program, periodic health screenings, and exercise classes that focus on the well-being of each resident
- Living accommodations offered within a secured, activity-based environment
- Activities such as; musical performances, discussion groups, fitness and social events
- Large common area includes space for participation in the therapeutic milieu of the unit
