They appreciate the services and conveniences of life at Kendal, including housekeeping, maintenance, and snow removal. They know they can count on covered parking, help with packages, daily newspaper, mail delivery and scheduled transportation. The Kendal community includes an on-site health clinic, gift and sundries shop, beauty/barber shop, branch bank, postal service and guesthouse for overnight visitors.


Kendal at Hanover has 250 Independent Living residences ranging from cozy studios to 1,350 square-foot cottages. The 64-acre site is rolling, partially wooded, and is bordered on the west by the Connecticut River. Kendal at Hanover offers nine types of residential living units in one-, two- and three-story buildings. The apartments are connected to the central building by covered walkways, interior corridors and paved footpaths.

Services & Amenities


Covered in residents’ entry and monthly fees are use of their residence with all utilities, housekeeping & linen service, and one meal a day plan (with option to add more). Kendal is responsible for maintenance of all buildings and grounds, including trash and snow removal. Residents also take advantage of a lifetime health care program with 24-hour emergency call system, and a comprehensive package of health care services.

Pricing Information

Kendal at Hanover is a full-service Life Plan Community. Costs are met by a one-time entry fee and an ongoing monthly fee.
